ANDREY EVGENIEVICH GRANOVSKY
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Malta
H.E. Andrey E. Granovsky was born on February 10th, 1949.
graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations with the degree candidate of sciences (history) in 1971.
Mr A.Granovsky has been in Diplomatic Service since 1971. He worked in the Embassy of USSR to India (1975-1979 and 1980-1984), in the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the United Nations in New York (1992-1996; 1998-2002 . as Deputy
Permanent Representative).
Mr. A.Granovsky has been the Director of the Department of International Organizations of the MFA of Russia since 2002.
H.E. Andrey Granovsky was appointed Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Malta on the 27th February, 2006 and presented the letters of credence to H.E. Dr Edward Fenech Adami, president of Malta, on the 4th May, 2006.
Speaks Hindi, English and French.
He is married to Tatiana Granovskaya and has two adult sons.
